Splish Splash

Our January update related an eventful trip up the coast to the beach at Macaneta. Confident that the water was safe, our boys made the most of their day by the sea

Another Year Gone By

Daniel turned nine in February so while Sharon baked, Gregory had fun with the icing sugar. The design is based on Daniel's current computer game

And to think that people complain about the Dartford Tunnel   So ... when was the last time this thing broke down?

Tempting Cholera

These street vendors eke out a living selling fruit and vegetables. Refuse spills out from the council skip, the sewers overflow on to the footpath and there are flies everywhere

DIY Sundial

Sharon and the boys recently made these sundials as an exercise in simple astronomy. They had great fun decorating and calibrating them. And if you look closely you will notice that these clocks work anti-clockwise
